At the end of each of the eleven units is a project. This is where you work on a real-world professional assignment in your own studio. They range from tv themes to commercials, computer games to short feature films. Each project is presented to you exactly as it was given to the professional composer.

Your assignment briefing will come from the real-life producer's and directors so this is a unique opportunity to learn how to interpret their requirements.

Most assignments require to write up to five minutes of music. Later assignments include scoring a complete short feature, spread over two units. This gives you practice in implementing changes requested by your client - an essential part of the job. You'll have an opportunity to put together a showreel and to find, and pitch for real paying work, all with the support and experience of your tutor.
